Web Design Solutions LLC — mobile apps only

Apps you'll keep on your home screen.

We build mobile apps for iOS and Android — since 2020, mostly for businesses who’d rather keep them to themselves. Serious about the craft. Not so serious about everything else.

    01 — Home screen

Our best work is under NDA.

Since 2020 we’ve built apps for businesses that would rather keep it that way. We can’t show them — but we can show you how we work.

    02 — Software update

How an app gets to 1.0.

    WDS App 1.0 Downloading…

Scroll to install. Every app we make goes through the same five steps — no skipping.

    1. v0.1

      Idea

Something that should exist. If it doesn't fit on one card, it waits.

    2. v0.4

      Sketch

Screens on paper, then on glass. Ugly first, lovely later.

    3. v0.7

      Build

Made for iOS and Android, so it feels at home on both. Fast on old phones too.

    4. v0.9

      Beta

Real people break it before you ever see it. Then we fix what they broke.

    5. v1.0

      Store

App Store and Google Play. That's not the end — that's when the updates begin.

    03 — Settings

    Serious fun, configured.

    Go on, try the switches.

    Serious about

    Locked on. For good.

    • Your privacy
    • Speed on old phones
    • Accessibility
    • Updates that keep coming
    • Keeping client secrets

    Fun about

    Yours to play with.

    • Motion that feels good
    • Words that sound human
    • Tiny surprises
    • Icons you want to tap

    04 — About this phone

If it doesn't fit in a pocket, we don't build it.

WDS started unofficially in 2020 with one rule: phones only. No websites, no dashboards, no “platforms”. Just apps — the kind you open without thinking about it.

A phone is the most personal thing people own. It's the first thing you touch in the morning and the last thing at night. An app that earns a spot on that home screen has to be fast, kind, and a little bit delightful — or it gets deleted. Fair enough.

So that's the job. Serious about the parts you never see: privacy, speed, accessibility, updates. Fun about the parts you do.

Most of what we’ve built lives under other companies’ names, behind NDAs. That’s the deal, and we keep it. In 2024 the side door became a front door, and WDS became Web Design Solutions LLC. Same rule, same discretion.

FAQ “Web Design” but no websites? We kept the initials and let the name grow up. It happens.
